I would recommend Paula and her team from Absolutely Organised any day of the week!
After the loss of my Father-in-law, Mother-in-law and husband, all to cancer, and all in a short period of time, I was left by myself (but not alone or helpless), to deal with the aftermath of belongings and the sorting out thereof, among other things. I also bought a house and had to move said things to my new house, all with covid19 looming.
I felt like I was drowning and completely overwhelmed by emotions and belongings that looked and felt like it had exploded in my house. I couldn’t get going - the more I tried, the more I failed, the more overwhelmed I felt, and the more messy things got. I felt like I was in quicksand and going nowhere fast.
I e-mailed Paula while sitting in a pile of stuff, crying so much that I could hardly read what I was typing, just pouring my heart out to this poor, unsuspecting stranger, not even knowing if she would answer.
But she did, and fast as well! She was kind, helpful, and understanding, and I would later find out that she is also very efficient and discreet. She is also very patient and builds your confidence as she works with you. She helped me put one foot in front of the other and got me to get myself out of my own mess, while helping all the way.
What would have taken me months to do on my own, we got done in a day and a half - she was amazing.
(I must also say they were very cautious, and adhered to strict Covid-19 protocols - I never felt unsafe or uncomfortable.)
Now I can make a new life for my little girl and I, in a calm peaceful environment where I feel healing can take place, not more stress and tears.
